For low fuel requirements on engines up to about 150 horsepower, a single Solid State pump such as this one is usually sufficient. Facet fuel pumps have low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. Facet pumps are compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives. This complete pump kit includes Facet fuel pump number 40288, mounting bolts, and a pair of adapter fittings to accept your 5/16" ID rubber fuel hose. Maximum fuel delivery 32 gallons per hour at free-flow. Maximum pressure 3 to 4.5 psi. Typical flow 15 gph at 2 psi. 1/8 NPT female ports. The ground wire has a ring terminal and the positive wire has a Packard connector. An internal check valve prevents fuel from draining back to the tank. This pump does not have an anti-siphon valve, so fuel can be drawn through the pump when it is shut off. The 60 inch dry lift capability is greater than most other cube-style Facet pumps.
